Chinese style Steamed Fish
Ingredients:
1 live fish (about 1.5 lb or less)
2 inches ginger (peeled and cut into thin strips)
1 stalk scallion (cut into 2-inch length, and then cut into thin silken threads)
Some cilantro leaves
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Steamed Fish Soy Sauce Mixture:
4 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
3 dashes white pepper powder
2 tablespoons rock sugar (grind into powder form) or to taste
Method:
Clean the fish properly (remove scales, guts, gills, etc.) and pat dry. Blend the soy sauce mixture in a small bowl and set aside.
Lay the fish on a plate and put top the fish with 1/2 of the cut ginger strips.
Heat up a wok with enough water for steaming. Wait for the water to boil. As soon as it boils, place your fish inside the wok, propped up with a small inverted bowl or a couple of wooden blocks (meant for steaming). Cover your wok tightly and set your kitchen alarm for 8 minutes.
As soon as the fish is done steaming, transfer it out from the wok. Discard the fish water and ginger strips. Lay the remaining ginger strips on top of the fish.
Heat up a pan over high heat and add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, swirl around until it’s hot. Pour the hot oil over the steamed fish. Put the pan back onto the stove, add the soy sauce mixture and stir well. As soon as the sauce bubbles up and boils, pour the soy sauce over the fish. Topped with scallions and cilantro leaves and serve the steamed fish immediately with white rice.

- 2 biji telur
- 1 1/2 cawan tepung gandum
- 1/2 cawan serbuk koko
- 1/2 cawan serbuk Milo
- 1 cawan minyak masak ( gune butter cair lg sedap)
- 1 cawan gula halus
- 1 sudu kecil baking powder
- 1 sud kecil soda bikarbonat
- 1 tin susu cair F&N ( ape2 brand pon boley)
- TOPPing
- 4 sudu besar serbuk koko
- 5 sudu besar susu pekat
- 2 sudu besar minyak ( butter lg sedap)
- 1 sudu besar ape2 jenis susu tepung dicampur 2 sudu besar air
- @ boley saje pakai coklat masakan biasa dgn butter. resepi utk topping sy adjust dr Myr mggunakan bahan yg sy ada
Cara-cara
- Masukkan kesemua bahan2 diatas di dalam bekas dan kacau sebati.. Pastikan anda kacau betul2 supaya gandum tidak berketul2..gula xpe xhancur.
- Masukkan dalam loyang yang dilenser dengan minyak atau loyang boleh dilapik dengan kertas minyak. Tutup dengan aluminium foil dan kukus selama 45 minit. Apabila kek dah masak boleh lar disejukkan
- Utk topping...campurkan semua bhn dan masak secara double boil. pastu bleh la curahkan kat atas kek yg dh sejuk td..Hias mngikut kreativiti...Pastu simpan dlm peti sejuk beberapa jam sehingga coklat mengeras then bleh la potong. Sedap dimakan sejuk2.. P/s: utk sesiapa yg agak xsabar2 nk mkn or 'rajin' like me lar..:), lepas campurkan semua bahan topping dan kacau sebati

Bahan-bahan ( 5-6 orang )
- 10g serbuk agar2
- 650ml air
- 200gm gula pasir (kalau nk kurang manis wat dlm 180gm pun ok)
- 60gm mentega
- 1 biji telur
- ½ tin susu cair
- 1 sudu makan tepung custard
- 1 sudu makan serbuk koko
- 1/2 sudu teh vanilla
- pewarna merah dan kuning secukupnya (kalau nak warna2 lain pun boleh)
Cara-cara
- Masak agar2, air dan gula hingga mendidih dan ketepikan
- Pukul telur sebentar menggunakan whisker kemudian masukkan susu dan tepong custard dan kacau hingga adunan ini rata, kemudian ditapis
- Setelah ditapis, satukan adunan telur dan agar2 dan kacau lagi hingga rata, serta masak semula sehingga adunan mendidih kemudian masukkan mentega dan vanilla dan kacau hingga rata. Then pastu tutup api.
- Bahagikan adunan kpd 3 mangkuk (sama byk). Then bubuh koko (campurkan sedikit air dulu) ke dalam salah satu adunan di dalam mangkuk dan kacau hingga rata , adunan yang dalam 2 mangkuk lagi masing2 leh letak kuning dan merah.
- Sengetkan loyang/pe2 bekas puding sedikit (yg Alma gunakan bekas square 7x7in) - i.e. biar satu hujung tu tinggi (lapik/alaskan dgn pe2 utk tinggikan).
- Mula2 tuangkan satu senduk makan adunan warna merah ke dalam loyang/bekas (dihujung yg paling rendah tu ler), kemudian satu senduk makan adunan warna kuning dan las skali satu senduk adunan warna coklat. Ulang buat cam ni sampai semua adunan habis.
- Bila dah siap, letakkan semula loyang/bekas ke kedudukan asalnya.Simpan dalam fridge.

1 sudu pes cili

1/4 cawan sos cili
Sos kicap:
2 sudu besar sos tiram
2 sudu besar sos cili

Air rebusan ayam
1 sup bunjut

Garam dan serbuk lada hitam

Timun,tomato,daun salad

Cara-caranya:
Nasi:
Basuh beras,masukkan air dan daun pandan.
Kemudian masukkan perencah nasi ayam hainan dan kacau rata.
Masak di dalam periuk nasi atau microwave (12minit).
Apabila separuh masak, kacau nasi agak bercampur rata dan masak lagi hingga benar-benar masak.
Apabila tiba masak menghidang,taburkan daun bwg dan bwg goreng.
Ayam:
Campurkan kesemua bahan kecuali ayam.
Didihkan air dan apabila telah mendidih,masukkan ayam.
Apabila ayam telah masak,angkat dan toskan airnya.
Kemudian,sapukan atas ayam dengan sedikit minyak bijan dan kicap cair.
Sup:
Ambil air rebusan tadi, masukkan kiub pati ayam,sup bunjut dan perasakan garam dan serbuk lada hitam.
Perlahankan api dan biarkan mereneh hingga waktu menghidang.
Sos cili:
Campurkan kesemua bahan kedlm mangkuk kecil dan kacau rata.
Sos kicap:
Campurkan kesemua bahan dan masak sebentar di dlm periuk.
Untuk menghidang:
Letakkan nasi di dlm pinggan,diikuti ayam,kemudian letakkan sup ke dlm mangkuk kecil,beserta sos cili dan kicap di tepi nasi.
Hiaskan dengan timun,tomato dan daun salad.
Taburkan daun bwg dan bwg goreng ke atas nasi dan sup.

Plan ahead and consider which items will take the longest to cook and which items need the most attention while cooking. This will help you determine what order to prepare each dish so that each gets the time it requires.
Always use a timer! Rarely does an item take exactly the amount of time the recipe says it will, but that is usually at least a good place to start! Try setting your timer 5 or 10 minutes before the recipe says the dish should be done and check it. If it still isn't finished, you will have a good visual way to estimate how much more time is required. If it is done, you just saved yourself from burning it!
